Linda started painting approximately 10 years ago, following her family artistic background. Her grandmother painted pendelfin and pottery. Her mother was an artist, while she was painting Linda spent many happy evening watching and learning about colours.
"/ enjoyed walking in the Lakes and Dales most weekends when I was young. The country side is the main inspiration for my work, catching ever-changing colours and the beauty of the nature on my work."
She finds the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales sources of inspiration for the majority of her work at this time.
Linda started working with acrylic but recently moved onto oils which she finds more fluid and vibrant and gives a more satisfying results in her work.
She hopes that visitors would enjoy looking at her work as much as she enjoyed painting it.
